For over 48 years, Vickie Roan - born and raised in Austin, Texas - has been creating meaningful, custom jewelry that brings her clients’ visions and passions to life. She opened The Menagerie just after graduating from college, building it from the ground up into one of Austin’s longest-standing women-owned businesses. What began as a young woman’s dream has grown into a legacy rooted in artistry, trust, and personal connection.
Vickie is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to six grandchildren, who remain a central joy in her life. Her work reflects the same values she lives by - warmth, kindness, and genuine care for others. Known for her joyful spirit and deeply personal approach, she has always believed jewelry should be more than beautiful; it should tell a story, honor a moment, and celebrate a life.
